Now that it appears Orlando Bloom has reunited with on again, off again girlfriend Kate Bosworth, young girls everywhere are ready to console the latest hunk to separate from his woman.

Chad Michael Murray, 24, has split from his "One Tree Hill" co-star and wife of five months Sophia Bush, 23, reports People.

"I am saddened to announce that Sophia and I are separating," says Murray in a statement. "This is a very difficult time for me."

Bush also calls the situation difficult and "unfortunate," adding, "I am glad this is being resolved sooner rather than later."

The actors were wed in a seaside ceremony at the Casa del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif., in April.

Their romance began in 2003 on the set of their first season of the "One Tree Hill," which will premiere its third season on Wednesday, Oct. 5. On the WB drama, Bush plays cheerleader Brooke Davis, while Murray plays the brooding Lucas Scott.

On the big screen, Bush has appeared in "Van Wilder" and recently co-starred in "Supercross." Murray's film credits include "Freaky Friday," "A Cinderella Story" and "House of Wax" opposite Paris Hilton and Elisha Cuthbert.
